Yum! These muffins are so good that they are my favorite quick bread. I had some sorghum flour in the freezer that I needed to use up and after I found this recipe, I ordered the sorghum syrup. Sorghum is related to sugar cane and so the syrup is similar to cane sugar syrup, only with more flavor. I think it would be good on pancakes or waffles or even biscuits. I left off the crumb topping just because I'm not a crumb topping advocate--too messy. If you'd like to experiment with sorghum baking, this is a great recipe to start with. It's easy and so delicious.
