TWD -- Baking with Julia BIG REWIND













I have been baking along with TWD but have been trying to find the time to actually get the posts written. School is all-consuming.

So here's my recap:

*The Boca Negra was good but I found the alcohol flavor to be too strong.

*The focaccia was delicious and it's a recipe that I'd like to make again.

*The mocha cookies were good but didn't taste all that different than regular chocolate chip cookies.

*The potato bread was a nice moist loaf that kept well for several days.

*I've made croissants before but this time I made chocolate filled ones and they turned out perfectly, though maybe a bit puffy. They tasted really good though.

  1. Nice summary! I feel like I haven't been baking along that much, but I did make 3 out of these 5. They all look great!
