I made these biscuits because they had so many great reviews. They are very good and do rise up to great heights. The downside of the high rise is that you can taste the baking powder a bit. So, these are best eaten with jam or gravy or some other kind of additional flavoring. I didn't brown the biscuits as long as I should have because we were really hungry and we didn't want to wait any longer. These are so big and so filling, that we had them for dinner and were too full to eat anything else. To keep these vegan, I used soy milk.
