I completely goofed up this recipes but the cookies were still delicious. Instead of creaming the butter and sugar and then adding the eggs and dry ingredients, I accidentally added the butter to the flour. I ended up just putting all of the ingredients in the bowl and mixing well. I also added about 3/4 cup of sweetened shredded coconut. I did not roll the cookies in powdered sugar because I only use powdered sugar when I absolutely have to. It's so fine that it ends up getting all over the kitchen and then when it gets wet, it's a sticky mess. I hate sticky. My cookies don't look anything like they're supposed to, but really, they were good! They tasted like little coconut brownies.

Coconut brownie cookies sound pretty good! I agree that powdered sugar is way too messy - I hate when it gets on the floor.
