TWD: Baking with Julia -- Finnish Pulla


The day I was making this I had unexpected repair people in the house. As I was trying to form the dough, they were walking back and forth through the kitchen and it was chaotic. So, instead of forming a lovely braided wreath, I ust formed a loosely braided long loaf. It wasn't really pretty but it baked up well. The taste of the bread was okay--Dave loved it--but it was just too egg-y for me. I usually try to avoid bread recipes that include eggs because I never like the taste. But that's just me.

  1. It looks like it turned out great! I think I'd like this because I really like cardamom, but I skipped this one. I need to get back on track in January!
