Italian Black Rice



This isn't a recipe, but I wanted to share some really delicious rice I found on amazon.com. It's black rice from Italy and when you cook it, the rice grains hold their shape really well. It makes a fantastic side-dish. I cooked the rice until it was just tender, drained it, and then sauteed it in olive oil and garlic. Yum!

  2. I agree! I served it with butter, salt, and pepper, and it was delicious. I love the chewy texture and nutty taste. That giant shrimp(?) on the box is creepy though!
