Italian Black Rice

This isn't a recipe, but I wanted to share some really delicious rice I found on It's black rice from Italy and when you cook it, the rice grains hold their shape really well. It makes a fantastic side-dish. I cooked the rice until it was just tender, drained it, and then sauteed it in olive oil and garlic. Yum!

  2. I agree! I served it with butter, salt, and pepper, and it was delicious. I love the chewy texture and nutty taste. That giant shrimp(?) on the box is creepy though!

  3. We are trying to eat healthier and Marisa loves rice. We'll have to try this.
