The recipe calls for making melon balls and they do make a very pretty presentation. But, I went with wedges because: a) I have no idea where my melon baller is--I haven't used it in about 10 years, b) I do not have the patience to make melon balls even if I did find the melon baller, c) presentation is lost on Dave.
This would make a lovely summer dessert and you could mix and match melon varieties depending on what looks good. It would also be a nice brunch dish. The sauce is good on its own, so I made extra to use with other things (ice cream, if Dave has his way).
I love to have fresh fruit as dessert like this in the summer! Looks so delicious Michele!ReplyDelete
Wow, this looks delicious! Never thought about a berry puree to go with melon like that. Sounds yummy!ReplyDelete
That looks great! I've been eating lots of melon this summer. I'm not so swift at making melon balls either.ReplyDelete
