Full English Breakfast

Woo-hoo--another goal accomplished.

I was staying at a tiny Bread and Breakfast in Wales, and the free breakfast they served was a Full English Breakfast--something I'd never seen before. Beans and tomatoes first thing in the morning? I know it sounds weird, but it's a really delicious (and hearty!) breakfast.

I made most of the typical components--baked beans, pan-fried mushrooms and potatoes, eggs, roasted tomatoes, bagels, and (fake) bacon.

I don't usually go in for big breakfasts, but as a once in awhile treat this English breakfast is fun, and Dave loved it. It also makes a good dinner or lunch. And most importantly, it reminded me of the fantastic time I had at the seaside in Wales.

  2. Sounds delicious! When I was in England, I thought it was funny to have beans for breakfast, but I ate them and of course they were good!
