I wrote a book review on The 100 Best Vegan Baking Recipes: Amazing Cookies, Cakes, Muffins, Pies, Brownies and Breads by Kris Holechek for The Daring Kitchen. This is a fantastic book with great recipes that even non-vegans will love. The recipes are accessible and don't require any weird ingredients.
If you're interested, you can read the review here.
I have two copies of the book, so the first person to comment can have my extra copy.
These looks absolutely delicious! And while I would love a copy of the book, don't give it to me as I bet I am too far away (Melbourne Australia) and already have more recipes than I know what to do with! (wink!)ReplyDelete
Give it to number 2 comment!
I checked out your review and its very helpful...I am a vegetarian and would like to start limiting other animal products in my diet. This book seems like a practical way to do that, and just to eat healthier in general. Thanks for the review, and of course, your great recipes!ReplyDelete
Excellent review...and great pictures. Thanks! Peace, StephanieReplyDelete
Not the first comment, oh well...ReplyDelete
I'll check out this book on my own. Sounds wonderful. Love your blog!
Everything looks great - especially the cinn-a-zag bread! I haven't done any vegan baking, but it doesn't sound so daunting, especially if the book gives some options for ingredients and doesn't call for anything weird.ReplyDelete
I like when a book (especially vegan) does not call for weird ingredients. While I have an extensive pantry I want simple.ReplyDelete
Everything looks so delicious, Michele! I don't know how you find the time to bake so much, but I would love it if you adopted me and I could find out firsthand. :-)ReplyDelete
Sorry about all your techno-foibles - you know what they say about Murphy's Law. Hope all the kinks get ironed out soon.
That was very sweet of you Joy!!ReplyDelete
