This is just a sweet and simple post on Bobby Flay's Blue Corn Pancakes with Cinnamon Maple Syrup. They are delicious and I really like the texture of the cornmeal--a little heartier than regular pancakes, but still light and fluffy. Plus, you get the benefits of the whole grain. The cinnamon maple syrup rocked, but then Dave and I both love anything with maple or cinnamon. Bobby serves his pancakes with an orange honey butter, but I usually go butter free on my cakes--it does sound really good though.

Yum...I love homemade wheat pancakes. These sound and look lovely. And real maple syrup is another yum. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese look really filling. A month ago I would not have known who Bobby Flay was, but with the Food Network starting here on a satellite channel, I do now.
ReplyDeleteI love cornmeal pancakes, Michele. Thanks for reminding me - I will have to make these soon!

ReplyDeleteYou have been so welcoming and warming to me in the blogging world. I won't forget it. Thank you so much.
Bobby Flay is so dependable for good recipes, unlike Tyler Florence. But, after all, Bobby is an Iron Chef. I know I would love these pancakes.
