Tuesdays with Dorie - Parisian Apple Tart

This week for TWD we made a very simple, and very delicious apple tart. It's a four ingredient wonder that takes just minutes to make; how cool is that? The secret is using store bought puff pastry for the base. I love these simple puff pastry tarts; they are a great go-to recipe when you need an easy, but fancy-pants looking dessert. You can make this tart with a variety of fruits--peach, pear, mango, pretty much any non-mushy fruit, so don't limit yourself to just apple.

The tart recipe was chosen by Jessica from My Baking Heart. Please visit her blog to get the recipe, and to see the amazing tarts that she baked.

Next Tuesday we are making honey-peach ice cream! Yum! I love fruity ice cream. I'm not sure if I'll even get to taste it though as Dave is an ice cream fanatic, and, if I don't hide the container in the back of the freezer he'll eat it all immediately, the minute he spots it.

  2. Oh looks so delicious. I love the sprinkled sugar on top. Maybe I'll add a clear glaze to finish it off with a shiny look
