I made Martha Stewart's strawberry cheesecake last night in honor of my niece's birthday. She lives in Illinois and we do not get to see her nearly as often as we would like to. She loves berries, so I think she would really like this cheesecake.
The cheesecake has a very intense strawberry flavor as it is made with roasted berries. I cut the recipe in half which gave me enough batter to make 3 4-inch mini-cheesecakes. It's a really delicious cake which would be perfect for a special occasion

Such a cute looking cheesecake - love the sprinkles!
ReplyDeleteYour neice is so cute. I like kids when they are that age. Your cheesecake looks sublime, I like the fact you roasted the berries to intensify the flavour as well, and reduced the quantities to make a smaller cake. Its all good!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Marisa!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for thinking of Marisa today. She had a wonderful and exciting day. She had a kids party at our local Pump It Up which is a place that has indoor inflatable slides and bouncers and climbing wall. Her and her friends had a ball. Then we stopped by Pop's so he could wish her a happy birthday. Then we picked up Dad from work and took her to Toys R Us so she could pick something out. Then to Ed Debevic's for dinner and back home to play with all her new toys. She had a happy day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comments!
ReplyDeleteCheryl- I am so glad that Marisa had a great birthday!
