Easy Seasoned Nuts

This recipe is from about.com, and originally calls for pecans. I substituted almond and pistachios for the pecans.

5 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon butter (or vegan margarine), melted
4 cups pecan halves
1 teaspoon of your favorite seasoning blend

Combine the butter and nuts in a large shallow roasting pan. Roast in a preheated 325F oven for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time. Sprinkle with the seasoning mix and toast and occasionally stir for about 15 minutes longer.

Cool thoroughly. Pack in airtight containers and store in a cool dry place for up to 1 month.
