Baked Feta with Spicy Pita

Here's a quick, but still posh, snack. It would be a nice treat at a party. Take cubes of feta cheese and bake them in a 300F oven until warmed through. Top with diced roasted red peppers-you can use jarred or homemade. Serve with pita bread that has been seasoned with salt, chili powder, poppy seeds and fennel seeds. To season the bread: Lightly coat the pita with olive oil. Sprinkle with the seasonings. Bake at 350F for just a few minutes until warm and lightly toasted. I love the combination of the zesty chili power and the earthy fennel.
