Imogene - "striped tail"

This is Imogene. She is the inspiration for the name "Striped Tail". I was trying to think of a name for a myspace account and Imogene was flicking her tail in front of my laptop screen trying to get my attention. Viola! Striped Tail.

I found Imogene and her sister in a cardboard box in a dumpster about 12 years ago. They were tiny kittens and they were ill from dehydration and from anemia as they were covered in fleas. I rushed them to the vet and fortunately they recovered and grew-up to be our gorgeous girls. Sadly, Imogene's sister, Toot, died a couple years ago from heart disease. We miss her very much.

Imogene suffers from an iron storage disorder and kidney problems. For the most part, she does really well. I just have to keep a close eye on her.
