Fresh berry cake

This was a VERY decadent dessert. I made a basic sponge cake and filled it/covered it with sweetend whipped cream and fresh berries. I used six pints of berries total- a combination of strawberries and raspberries. The cake was huge. Enough for many people. It was also very delicious. I think it was wonderful enough to be on my "if you were trapped on a desert island and only had one thing to eat, what would it be" list. Yummy, not very sweet cake, mounds of whipped cream and sweet berries.
